Nana Firman - The Daughter of the Rainforests

Nana Firman is an environmental activist from Indonesia who takes inspiration for her environmentalism from Islamic principles of Stewardship.

For almost two decades, she has actively been involved in curriculum development for mosques and religious leaders for inculcating eco-Islamic practices. She is a vegetarian and promotes plant-based diets among Muslims through initiatives such as ‘Green Ramadan’.
