Zuhal Atmar is an environmentalist and entrepreneur from Afghanistan, who is renowned as the first woman to have founded a recycling plant in Afghanistan.

Through her plant, the Gul Mursal Waste Paper Recycling Factory, she aspired to create a greener environment in Kabul, as well as raise awareness about recycling and producing less waste.
